C2C: COUNTRY TO COUNTRY SYDNEY AND BRISBANE – SEPTEMBER 2019

TEG Live and AEG Presents are proud to announce some of the incredible talent that will join superstar Tim McGraw along with chart-topping singer-songwriter Kelsea Ballerini and Midland at the very first Country to Country (C2C) Australia music festival in September 2019. C2C will take over Sydney Qudos Bank Arena on Saturday 28 September 2019 and Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Sunday 29 September 2019. Tickets on sale now via Ticketek.

Alabama native Drake White will return to Australia for C2C – this will be his 2nd visit to Australian shores. Immediately shooting to #1 on the iTunes Top Country Albums chart upon release, White’s debut album ‘SPARK’ has earned praise both commercially and across his loyal following. The undeniable sound of his soulful voice has whipped concert audiences into a frenzy as Drake and his band, The Big Fire, raise the roof and summon spirits to life onstage. It’s equal parts Baptist tent revival and amped-up southern rock festival. White, along with his band The Big Fire, have toured with superstars including Willie Nelson, Dierks Bentley, Little Big Town, Zac Brown Band, Eric Church and Toby Keith.

Since the release of their debut EP in 2006, sisters Brooke, Sam & Mollie McClymont – The McClymonts – have established themselves as Australia’s number one country group with over a quarter of a million album sales, two gold album sales accreditations, twenty-two chart-topping singles and a reputation for being one of the most exciting touring acts in country music. They are thirteen-time Golden Guitar Award winners including the 2018 ‘Album of the Year’ for their best-selling album ‘Endless’ (which went #1 on the ARIA country album chart). They have also won two ARIA Awards, an APRA Award, three Country Music Channel Awards and a CMA ‘Global Artist of the Year’.

Travis Collins is a seven-time Golden Guitar winner and a true Australian country music superstar. With a growing string of hit albums, #1 songs, awards and a decade of winning fans all across the country under his belt, he continues to cement his footprint as a mainstay on the Australian music landscape. Collins is as well-known for his masterful guitar playing and powerhouse vocals as he is for his depth of songwriting and high energy live performances. His sixth studio album ‘Brave and the Broken’ is out now.

Andrew Swift won two Golden Guitars in 2019 for ‘Alt Country Album of the Year’ and ‘New Talent of the Year’. His album ‘Call Out For The Cavalry’ unleashed 4 singles, including ‘Reckless Desires’, ‘Runaway Train’ (one of 2018’s most played singles on Australian country radio), ‘King of the Sky’, and the latest (and Golden Guitar nominated for Vocal Collaboration of the Year), ‘Fire & Ice’ featuring Catherine Britt, which climbed the radio and video charts since its release in November 2018, reaching #2 on Kix Country and #1 on the Country Music Channel (Australia) video chart in March 2019.

Judah Kelly won the 2017 season of The Voice Australia. Music has always been part of Judah’s life, from performing in front of family in a New Zealand church at the age of four to three stints at Tamworth’s Academy of Country Music and a number of years spent working for others as a live and studio guitarist and bass player. His second album ‘Real Good Time’ is out now.

Nashville duo Reverie Lane will make their first Australian debut at C2C. Coming together in 2014, singer-songwriters Spencer Bartoletti and Presley Tucker have achieved some impressive milestones which many musicians can only dream of, including performing on stage at The Grand Ole Opry and the Ryman Auditorium alongside Presley’s mother, country music icon and legend, Tanya Tucker.

Australian Sinead Burgess makes a welcome return to the country music scene and her first festival appearance since the release of her album ‘Damaged Goods’.

Also playing at the first ever C2C Australia will be Kiwi country singers Kaylee Bell and Jody Direen.

C2C will be 10 hours of country music, spanning multiple stages including the Main Stage, the C2C Spotlight Stage and the Town Square, and showcasing the best in country music as well as emerging talent from the United States, Australia and New Zealand.

C2C made its debut at the O2 Arena in London in 2013 and has now become an annual staple on the UK festival calendar with tens of thousands of fans attending each year to enjoy some of the very best of country music. In 2015, C2C went into mainland Europe for the first time with shows in Sweden and Norway. In 2019, C2C debuted in both the Netherlands and Germany, and now this annual country music festival is coming to Australia for the very first time in September.

Woodstock 50 announces Brian Cadd!

Woodstock 50 Music and Arts Fair announced the official line-up of its three-day 50th anniversary celebration today including our very own Brian Cadd, one of only two Australian artists on the bill.

Taking place on its 50th anniversary weekend, 16 to 18 August 2019 in Watkins Glen, NY, the most iconic music festival in American history is bringing peace, love and music back for a new generation of fans, uniting people in a shared experience with great artists and encouraging active support of equality, inclusion and a shared sustainable future.

Woodstock’s Co-Producer/Co-Founder, Michael Lang, said today “Brian Cadd’s vocal resonance and stage performance reminds me of my friends in The Band. His new album Silver City rocks and I look forward to welcoming him at Woodstock 50”

Singer, songwriter, producer – Brian Cadd has now, officially, done it all. Cadd kicked off his career with two of the most celebrated bands of their day, The Groop and Axiom, with hits Woman You’re Breaking Me and A Little Ray of Sunshine. He followed this with a string of massive hits as a solo artist with songs like Ginger Man, Let Go, Alvin Purple and the soundtrack to the classic Morning of the Earth surf movie, before moving into a ‘behind-the-scenes’ role in the music industry, going on to produce and work alongside music heavyweights from around the globe.

Brian has written songs for the likes of Joe Cocker, Ringo Starr, John Farnham, Little River Band, Bonnie Tyler, Glen Campbell and The Pointer Sisters and his iconic status was acknowledged when he was inducted into the 2007 Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Hall of Fame.

2019 has already seen the release of Brian’s brand-new Americana inspired album, Silver City, recorded in Nashville with legendary producer Mark Moffatt. Silver City takes Brian’s musical history and consolidates it into a remarkable journey to critical reviews including:

“… here is one the most versatile and respected figures in Australian music at his shining best” – The Australian

Silver City debuted in the Top 10 on the ARIA Country Album Chart and the AIR Chart and tracks have been added to radio around the country.

The Proclaimers return to Australia in May for national tour!

Scottish duo, The Proclaimers, are returning to Australia in May for a national tour with shows in Toowoomba, Brisbane, Caloundra, Newcastle, Sydney, Melbourne, Geelong, Adelaide and Perth.

It has been 32 years since Scotland’s finest Celtic soul brothers, Craig and Charlie Reid, aka The Proclaimers, emerged in our musical psyche. Since then, their enduring appeal across generations has carved a niche for themselves where pop, folk, new wave and punk collide as the emotional honesty, political fire, wit and sing-along raucousness of their songs and their extensive touring has enlightened and entertained fans around the World.

2018 saw The Proclaimers record their 11th studio album at the legendary Rockfield Studios in Wales in April with producer Dave Eringa (Manic Street Preachers, Roger Daltrey, Kylie Minogue) at the helm. Angry Cyclist , released in August 2018, became the band’s 8th UK Top 40 album debuting in the UK Official Album charts at 17 and at number 3 in the UK Official Independent Album Charts.

The Proclaimers performed 61 times on the 2018 leg of their Angry Cyclist tour including 5 UK festivals, 13 concerts in Canada and 43 sold out UK shows, playing in front of over 250,000 fans during the run. 5,400 minutes of Craig and Charlie, along with band members Stevie, Garry John, Zac and Clive, performing on stage!

“They effortlessly took this audience from heartache to joy without breaking a sweat. Completely unpretentious and with none of the fancy trappings of some stage shows, the brothers let their music and vocal range shine through” – Nottingham Post

It’s been 3 years since The Proclaimers last came ‘down under’ and they’re looking forward to returning, “We’ve been coming to Australia since late ’80s and have loved being there every time. We hope the audiences will enjoy the new songs and the old” said Charlie and Craig.

Craig and Charlie have reached a rarefied status: after three decades they are as innovative as ever and with every album and show played, The Proclaimers continue to garner new fans. Their songs are timeless: with their catchy tunes and stirring harmonies they capture the full gamut of human emotions.

Expect to hear all the classics – Let’s Get Married, Sunshine on Leith, Letter From America and I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) along songs from their recently released, highly acclaimed, Angry Cyclist, album.

Fans are reminded to only buy tickets from the official ticket agents listed below so as to avoid “reselling” sites such as Viagogo who typically advertise heavily online and often mislead consumers into paying much higher prices than necessary.

LEE KERNAGHAN ANNOUNCES NEW TOUR, NEW SINGLE AND NEW ALBUM – BACKROAD NATION TOUR KICKING OFF MAY 2019 WITH SPECIAL GUESTS MULTI-GOLDEN GUITAR WINNERS, THE WOLFE BROTHERS & CMC FEMALE ARTIST OF THE YEAR CHRISTIE LAMB

Lee Kernaghan is kicking off the year in a big way announcing his most extensive tour to date and an epic new album, Backroad Nation.

Lee says his Backroad Nation tour is set to cover a lot of country over the coming year with concert events planned Australia wide. The extensive run includes 45 shows that go on sale today and coincide with the release of the first radio single – Wheels. The new song from the forthcoming Backroad Nation album features the accompanying music video that was filmed on location in outback Northern Territory.

“It was absolutely spectacular out in that desert country and we were shooting in 46-degree heat – it was even too hot for the flies,” Lee recalls. Lee’s wife Robby also made a special appearance in the music video donning bikinis and Akubra hat. “When I first asked Robby if she’d be in the clip she said no,” he says. “So, I had to sweeten the deal and I bribed her with a couple of of cold beers at Lasseter’s Casino.”

Lee says the Backroad Nation album and tour is a celebration of ‘us, our way of life and the people who make our country great’. “Much of the inspiration for the songs has come from the people I’ve met and the places I’ve travelled to, from Alice Springs to the Deni Ute Muster, from the mighty Pilbara region in WA to the backroads of Queensland, and everywhere in between,” he says.

Kernaghan who has 38 number one songs to his credit says the new tour will feature all the hits and a whole lot more. “We’ve been working on creating a concert event that I hope people are going to really love being a part of,” he says. “A lot of new design elements have been added with the staging, lighting and screens plus the hottest band in the land, The Wolfe Brothers will be joining me and opening up the shows with a bunch of their own hits.”

The Wolfe Brothers made country music history in January becoming the first group to win four Golden Guitars in one night including the big one, Album Of The Year, for their outstanding release, Country Heart. One of Australia’s brightest new stars, Christie Lamb will also join Lee for his Backroad Nation Tour. Christie has notched up multiple number one hits on the charts; she was the Golden Guitar winner for New Talent Of The Year and in 2018 and was voted CMC Female Artist Of The Year.

Lee Kernaghan is considered a legend in the Australian music industry and for good reason. He has achieved a staggering 38 #1 chart hit songs including Boys From The Bush, Hat Town, Flying With The King, Australian Boy, Texas QLD 4385, Goondiwindi Moon, High Country and a veritable ute load of Golden Guitars – 37 in total. Lee has also won four ARIA Awards including The ARIA Special Achievement Award for the Spirit Of The Anzacs album – the Number One all genres album of 2015 and Highest Selling Australian Album Of The Year.

Tickets to the Backroad Nation Tour are on sale today. Lee Kernaghan’s new album Backroad Nation is set for release on May 10 through ABC Music. The first single from the album, Wheels, is at radio today. Check our the video clip for Wheels here https://youtu.be/TAkHv2Hr5bA

“Yes it was nostalgic, but it’s fair to say the room was humming for
nearly three hours”
– Newcastle Herald

“It was an absolute pleasure to be around these musicians and
these classic tunes tonight, dare I say better than good times,
tonight was great times!”
– May the Rock be with You

For 30 years, the glorious voices of Vika & Linda Bull have comprised one of the most distinctive, versatile and emotionally charged sounds on the Australian music landscape. Since their multi-platinum conquest of pop radio with The Black Sorrows in the late 1980s, the sisters have forged diverse pathways into soul, gospel, blues, country and the island music of their Tongan ancestry.

By turns tender and powerful, Vika & Linda’s rich solo vocals and instinctive harmonies have spawned eight albums of their own, as well as illuminating studio and concert performances by Paul Kelly, RocKwiz, C.W. Stoneking, Deborah Conway, Kasey Chambers and many more.

Vika & Linda are currently working on their first full length album of original material for 18 years. Watch this space, open your ears and hold onto your heart.

Singer, songwriter, producer – Brian Cadd has done it all.

Silver City takes Brian’s musical history and consolidates it into a remarkable journey.

Rolling Stone Living Legend, Joe Camilleri, is a giant of the Australian music landscape. He has given his life to writing, performing and celebrating music. Writer of milestone Australian songs such as So Young, Hit & Run, Shape I’m In, Harley & Rose, Chained To The Wheel and Never Let Me Go and leader of two of Australia’s most successful bands, Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons and The Black Sorrows , Joe and his music have become part of Australian music culture. Joe was inducted along with other members of the Falcons into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2007.

In 1975 Joe formed Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons, a band who swung from R’n’B to reggae, power pop and ska. Over a period of 8 years The Falcons amassed enviable sales and radio airplay and ultimately epitomised the era. Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons toured the country relentlessly and became one of Australia’s finest live outfits. The band also toured the USA. In the early ’80s Camilleri and friends started up a new band, The Black Sorrows. Originally a ‘just for the fun of it’ outfit, The Black Sorrows have released 20 albums over three decades and sold over two million albums world-wide. The Black Sorrows has always been an elastic band and over its life has been home to over 30 of Australia’s finest musical talents, including fellow Allstars, Vika + Linda Bull.

For Camilleri, it’s all about moving forward and to that end, The Black Sorrows are releasing their 21st album (and Joe’s 49th!) in March 2019.

Multi ARIA award winning artist, Kate Ceberano, has been in the business for over 35 years – writing and performing both jazz and pop music – with seven Platinum and seven Gold albums to her name.

Kate first came to prominence in the mid-80’s as a 15-year-old sensation fronting pop funk band, I’m Talking. Five consecutive hit singles and a Platinum debut album, Bear Witness, led to a swag of awards including Best New Talent at the 1984 Countdown Awards, followed up by Best Female Artist in the ’85 and ’86 Countdown Awards. After launching her solo career, Kate took out Best Female Artist at the ’88 and ’89 ARIA awards with her triple Platinum album, Brave , nominated as ARIA Album of the Year.

Ceberano has barely drawn breath since, racking up 25 albums over 35 years to be the most prolific Australian female recording artist of this era. In 2014, Ceberano became the first (and only) Australian woman to be inducted into the Australian Songwriters’ Association (ASA) Hall of Fame and 2016 saw Kate on the Queen’s Birthday Honours List, becoming a member of the Order of Australia for significant service to the performing arts and charitable organisations.

Kate Ceberano is a bone fide national treasure, possessing one of the great voices of her generation. Long may she run.

ARIA Award winner, ARIA Hall of Fame inductee, platinum selling artist and former King of Pop, Russell Morris, is an Australian music icon with his own extensive catalogue of Aussie anthems including The Real Thing, Sweet Sweet Love, Hush, Wings of an Eagle and many more. Morris’ most recent releases are his Blues Trilogy albums – Sharkmouth, Van Diemen’s Land and Red Dirt Red Heart – all of which reached Top 10 on the ARIA Album chart and garnered nominations for ARIA Awards for Best Blues & Roots Album (Sharkmouth and Red Dirt Red Heart won the Awards in 2013 and 2016 respectively).

From Daddy Cool to Mondo Rock and as a solo artist with no less than 26 ARIA Top 40 hits to his credit as a singer, songwriter and producer, Ross Wilson is one of Australia’s most awarded, respected and well-known artists. From the legendary band Daddy Cool whose number one anthem Eagle Rock and debut album Daddy Who? smashed all previous sales records in Australia, to the 1977 formation of Mondo Rock, delivering 80’s hits Cool World, State of The Heart, Chemistry, No Time and Come Said The Boy and into the 21st century as a solo performer, Wilson has never been out of the limelight. Twice inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame, Wilson’s live performances are legendary and we look forward to rocking with him this May and June on the Apia Good Times Tour.

John Paul Young OAM is undoubtedly one of the most popular Australian artists of the 70’s, with a string of hits, and over 4 million record sales, cementing him a place in Australia’s music history.

In the early 70’s when John was a sheet metalworker by day and singer by night, he was approached to record Pasadena, before joining the cast of Jesus Christ Superstar playing the role of Annas until 1974. Then everything went just a little crazy and “JPY” was all over the airwaves with Yesterday’s Hero, The Love Game, I Hate the Music, Keep On Smilin’, I Wanna Do It With You, Where the Action Is, Standing In The Rain and, of course, Love Is In The Air.

With this success, John became a Countdown regular as both guest presenter, co-host and performer and his music became the soundtrack to the countdown generation, launching a career spanning more than 40 years. Along with performing, John has had equal successes in Radio, Television and Theatre, including a Helpmann Award nomination for best supporting artist. In 2009, John was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame and in 2012, his 40th year in the industry, John was honoured with an Order of Australia for his services to charity and the music industry.

ELTON JOHN AUSTRALIAN FAREWELL TOUR DATES ANNOUNCED – MUSIC ICON ANNOUNCES FIFTEEN AUSTRALIAN & THREE NEW ZEALAND SHOWS IN 2019 & 2020

ELTON JOHN AUSTRALIAN FAREWELL TOUR DATES ANNOUNCED – MUSIC ICON ANNOUNCES FIFTEEN AUSTRALIAN & THREE NEW ZEALAND SHOWS IN 2019 & 2020

Sir Elton John, recently crowned by Billboard as the most successful performing male solo artist of all time, today reveals details of the epic 15-date Australian and 3-date New Zealand leg of his global Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour.

Between December 2019 and February 2020, Elton John will traverse Australia and New Zealand, in what will be the legendary music icon’s most extensive tour of the region to date. The tour will kick off with record breaking back-to-back appearances at Perth’s HBF Park (formerly nib Stadium) on Saturday 30th November and Sunday 1st December 2019, a huge 48 years on from his first ever Australian show, which took place at Perth’s Subiaco Oval on 17th October, 1971.

Elton will deliver his famed songbook to spellbound audiences, on his very last tour, playing across a mammoth run that includes Capital City concerts, along with stops at some of Australia’s finest outdoor venues from the Hunter Valley’s Hope Estate to Rutherglen’s All Saints Estate, Rochford Wines in the Yarra Valley, Queensland’s Sirromet Wines, Victoria’s Hanging Rock and Bathurst’s Carrington Park, with additional dates, including North QLD, to be announced later in 2019.

“Elton’s continuing love affair with Australia knows no bounds, proven by this farewell tour, and the breadth and depth of the itinerary, showing his commitment to his many Australian fans”, said promoter Michael Chugg. “On his very last tour, he wanted to return to some of his favourite cities, while also playing for fans in a couple of never-before-visited locations.”

Beginning in Pennsylvania, USA in September 2018, Elton John’s three-year Farewell Yellow Brick Road global tour has already been hailed as one of his most “energetic, dazzlingly-original and joyful celebrations”. Elton’s legendary catalogue, including beloved songs ‘Bennie and the Jets’, ‘Rocket Man’, ‘Tiny Dancer’, ‘Crocodile Rock’, ‘Philadelphia Freedom’ and more, are showcased in a musical masterpiece that is a “reflective and stunning tribute to a great artist’s career” (NME), also celebrating his 50-plus year collaboration with lyricist Bernie Taupin – one of the great song-writing partnerships of all time.

The milestone itinerary comprises more than 300 shows across five continents, spanning three years, with stops in Europe, North America, Asia, South America, Australia and New Zealand, and marks the last tour of its kind by the celebrated songwriter and iconic showman.

“Playing live to other human beings is the greatest gift any artist could ever have”, said Sir Elton at his Chicago show.

Audiences will experience a rare glimpse into Elton’s life, and the deeply personal meaning behind some of his greatest hits, via mesmerising, never-before-seen images and videos displayed throughout the show from his incredible 50-year career. Complete with brand new stage production, and tour wardrobe designed by Italian fashion house Gucci, Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road global tour is intimate and personal, while also spectacular and daring.

He will be joined by longstanding band members Nigel Olsson on drums (part of Elton’s original three-piece band in 1970), esteemed musical director Davey Johnstone (who first recorded with Elton in 1971 and joined the band a year later) on guitar, virtuoso Ray Cooper on percussion, Matt Bissonette on bass, John Mahon on percussion, and Kim Bullard on keyboards.

Sir Elton John said, “I always love coming back to Australia. Ever since my first visit in 1971 it has held a very special place in my heart.”

Elton’s enduring history with Australia is evident across the years, notably in 2012, when he opened the Perth Arena, and most recently delivering the final performance at the Sydney Entertainment Centre [since demolished], in December 2015.

He bids farewell to the road almost fifty years on from his debut Australian show, having played 196 concerts and performing to more than 1.5 million people across the country in that time. Since his career began in 1969, he has performed a staggering 4000-plus shows in more than 80 countries.

The performer said that after the tour finishes he looks forward to “coming off the road and dedicating more time to raising my children”.

“I’m ecstatic and humbled to continue to play for audiences across the globe. I plan to bring to my final tour the passion and creativity that has entertained my fans for decades… It’s the most produced and fantastic show I’ve ever done. I want to go out with a bang…” – Elton John

Garnering rave reviews at sell-out shows across North America, Elton John’s curtain call will be the last chance to catch this legendary performer touring in Australia.

More than a concert; an unforgettable memory!

LEE KERNAGHAN GEARS UP FOR A MASSIVE CONCERT AT TAMWORTH COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL

Lee KernaghanAustralia’s own ‘Boy From The Bush’ Lee Kernaghan is gearing up for a massive Tamworth Country Music Festival show in 2019 and audiences are in for a treat. Returning to Tamworth Regional Entertainment Conference Centre (TRECC) with a massive new show featuring all the hits and fan favourites. This is going to be a huge country music party!

Always passionate about performing at Tamworth Country Music Festival, Lee is well known for putting on a amazing show that always features some surprise guest artists and new talent. In 2019, he also takes on the official ‘ambassador’ title for the festival – a worthy title considering it was at Tamworth where he took home the Star Maker title back in the 1980s.

Lee Kernaghan reinvigorated Australian Country Music in the 1990’s, synthesising traditional country themes with his own brand of rural rock and images of an evolving regional culture. Songs like The Outback Club, Boys From The Bush, Hat Town, She’s My Ute and Australian Boy are now modern day anthems for a generation of Australians living and working on the land.

Lee continues to tour Australia and has recently completed a massive two-year tour with his Boys From The Bush 25th Anniversary Tour. In 2017 he sold out 29 of the 32 theatre shows he performed, and the tour was extended into 2018 and once again, most of these shows sold out.

Lee has sold over two million albums in Australia and is a four-time ARIA award winning artist. He has achieved a staggering 38 #1 chart hit songs over his career and has been awarded 38 Golden Guitars. He has been named Hit Maker of the Decade, twice, in 2001 and 2011. This accolade is in recognition of Lee having more chart hits in Australia than any other country music artist in the world.

Lee’s return to TRECC on Thursday 24th January 2019 will be one of the hottest tickets of the Tamworth Country Music Festival, so call your friends and book your tickets early to join the party with Lee at Tamworth 2019. Lee and his special guests will get audiences on their feet for a good time!

FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE ADD SECOND CAIRNS SHOW TO DEBUT AUSTRALIAN HEADLINE TOUR

Recently Grammy-nominated duo FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE today respond to overwhelming demand, announcing they will play a second show in Cairns, on their first ever Australian headline tour. The group will kick off their anticipated all-ages arena run at the Cairns Convention Centre with a newly announced show on Thursday 14 March, followed by a sold-out appearance on Friday 15 March.

The band will also take in Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Monday 18 March, and Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Wednesday 20 March, along with a headline slot at the sold-out CMC Rocks QLD 2019 event, Australia’s premiere country music festival.

Over the past six years, Florida Georgia Line have taken the world by storm, exploding into the mainstream with collaborations with Bebe Rexha on global chart-topper ‘Meant To Be’, featuring on Hailee Steinfeld and Alesso’s ‘Let Me Go’, plus The Chainsmokers on ‘Last Day Alive’, The Backstreet Boys with ‘God, Your Mama, And Me’, Ziggy Marley, Tim McGraw, Nelly, and countless others.

Their genre-defying sound is top-shelf, making for an explosive live experience. True global entertainers, the multi-platinum duo have surpassed 31 million tracks and more than 4.3 million albums sold, played to jam-packed rooms across North America, and appeared live on US television programs The Late Late Show with James Cordern, The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon and more!

With a forthcoming album, Can’t Say I Ain’t Country, just announced for release on 15 February 2019, Florida Georgia Line will have some brand new hits to unleash on Australian audiences in March!

In Cairns, US hit-maker Morgan Wallen will join FGL for the ride, while country star Thomas Rhett will round out the lineup in Sydney and Melbourne. With a solid bill of country powerhouses, these shows promise to be a hit for music-lovers of all ages.

INTRODUCING NASHVILLE NEW ARTIST SERIES LANDS IN AUSTRALIA IN MARCH!

Announced today, INTRODUCING NASHVILLE is the brand new international artist touring series, presented by the Country Music Association of America. A four-artist bill featuring some of North America’s most exciting established and up-and-coming artists – Brandy Clark, Devin Dawson, Lindsay Ell, and Tenille Townes – will take in five intimate venues across Australia, kicking off at Lismore’s City Hall on Monday 18th March, and continuing through Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne.

Designed to introduce current artists from Nashville to music fans around the world, the two-hour seated show will present artists on stage together, in a rare stripped-back environment. Mirroring a quintessential Nashville writers round, Introducing Nashville will see artists take turns to introduce their songs, sharing the stories behind the tracks, along with personal life and career experiences; these shows are an opportunity for Australian audiences to catch a unique glimpse into the lives and art of some of their favourite Nashville artists.

Punctuated by unrehearsed banter, and with each of the artists featured occupying different lanes musically, music lovers will come away from the evening having experienced a true cross-section of what is coming out of Music City right now.

“We are excited to invest in artists who are building international careers and to help place them in front of fans in multiple cities who seldom experience Nashville artists live,” said Milly Olykan, Vice President, International Relations and Development. “Launching the first Introducing Nashville tour with these distinct artists, each of which occupy such different lanes musically, illustrates the broad range of sounds coming out of Nashville and the Country genre.”

Hailing from Nashville, BRANDY CLARK received her first of an impressive six career Grammy nominations in 2013 in the Best Country Song category, co-writing the Miranda Lambert No.1 hit ‘Mama’s Broken Heart’. Shortly thereafter, Clark independently released her debut album, 12 Stories, which was embraced by music lovers and critics alike and garnered two Grammy nominations, along with Best Album commendations from the likes of The Boston Globe, New York Magazine, NPR, New York Post and more.

2016’s sophomore album, Big Day In A Small Town, garnered two Grammy nominations for Best Country Album and Best Country Solo Performance, once again topping critics’ Best Of lists for the year, including NPR, Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly and Billboard, cementing Clark as one of Country Music’s most talented artists, beloved by fans, critics and fellow entertainers alike.

Breakout artist DEVIN DAWSON released his debut album Dark Horse, earlier this year, landing Top 5 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart on release. The record features Dawson’s current single ‘Asking For A Friend’, which he has recently performed on US television programs TODAY and Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Dawson has been recognised with multiple nominations this year including ACM’s New Male Artist, CMT’s Breakthrough Video of the Year and Radio Disney’s Best New Country Artist, among others. The Californian has received critical praise from outlets such as Billboard, Huffington Post, Entertainment Weekly, People, ELLE, The Tennessean, AXS, HITS and more, recently touring with Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, along with labelmate Brett Eldredge. His first headlining run, the Stray Off Course Tour, began in November and continues into 2019.

Lauded as one of “the most exciting and talented young artists in country music” (Forbes), LINDSAY ELL is a star on the rise. The Canadian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has toured alongside the likes of Luke Bryan, Buddy Guy, The Band Perry and Keith Urban, as well as impressing audiences as Carrie Underwood’s guitar player live on The 50th Annual CMA Awards and holding her own alongside icon Melissa Etheridge on Skyville Live. This year alone, Ell exhilarated audiences as part of Brad Paisley’s Weekend Warrior World Tour, Sugarland’s Still The Same Tour and select dates of Keith Urban’s Graffiti U World Tour.

Ell’s first full-length album The Project debuted at No.1 on the Nielsen Soundscan Country Albums Chart, and was named Billboard’s Best Country Album of 2017. Her current single ‘Criminal’ was the most added song at U.S. Country radio upon release, becoming her first Top 20 hit in the US.

Up-and-comer TENILLE TOWNS is paving ground all of her own, touted as having the lyrical fortitude of Griffin or Lori McKenna, the soulful nature of Chris Stapleton or even Adele. Working on her debut album with acclaimed US producer Jay Joyce, Townes started her journey to becoming one of country music’s most promising new artists in her native rural Canada. Once settled in Nashville, Townes spent her days songwriting and her nights at guitar pulls or at the Bluebird Café, studying everything she could. Eventually, she scored a publishing deal with Big Yellow Dog and headed into the studio. Together, they tapped into her organic nature and her sheer ability to tell a story and emote it through the visceral range of her vocals – tender, bluesy, wise and full of wonder but never naive.
