Police have launched an investigation after a man was found on a roadway and later died, in Goulburn this morning.
Shortly before 1am (Saturday 20 June 2015), officers attached to The Hume Local Area Command were called to Faithful Street, near Clifford Street, after reports of an injured man on the road.
Police arrived to find a man, aged 37, with serious injuries lying on the road.
The man was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Goulburn Base Hospital, where he later died.
An investigation was commenced and a crime scene established that was examined by detectives and forensic specialists.
From investigations police believe the man was struck while on the road by a Mazda 6.
Following further inquiries, police arrested a 34-year-old woman and 16-year-old boy nearby.
The woman was taken to Goulburn Base Hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.
The two were taken to Goulburn Police Station.
The woman has been charged with dangerous driving cause death, she was given conditional bail to appear at Goulburn Local Court on Wednesday 8 July 2015.
The teen was released without charge.
