A police officer from the Northern Region has been charged following an investigation into alleged intimidation offences against colleagues.
Today (Sunday 3 January 2016), the 41-year-old sergeant, attached to a Local Area Command in the Northern Region, was served with a Future Court Attendance Notice for two counts of intimidation.
The alleged offences relate to two separate incidents which occurred at a police station in the Northern Region in 2014 and 2013.
The officer is currently on leave.
He is due to appear at Newcastle Local Court on 18 February 2016.
