Police from Wagga Wagga have seized drugs, guns and ammunition following a search warrant at a property in Collingullie earlier today.

Around 1.30pm (Tuesday 21 March 2015), police executed a search warrant at a home on Bristol Street.

In the property’s backyard, officers located 11 large cannabis plants, before they found a further 12 cannabis plants growing under a hydroponic set-up in the property’s shed.

An unsecured .22 rifle and a .243 calibre rifle with scope were also found during the warrant, as were large quantities of ammunition.

No residents were present during the warrant, however police inquiries into the matter are ongoing and arrests are expected to be made.
