A man has been arrested after an attempt to allegedly gain access to an ATM at Boolaroo early this morning.
About 2.30am (Sunday 19 April, 2015), police and security officers attended Main Street after receiving information the ATM alarm had been activated.
Upon arriving police allegedly found damage to the roof cavity housing the ATM. Police located the man hiding on the roof. Police further allege the man was in possession of a number of tools and house breaking implements.
Entry was not gained into the ATM.
The 31-year-old Hamilton South man was arrested at the scene and taken to Toronto Police Station where he was charged with break and enter with intent to steal.
The man was bailed to appear at Toronto Local Court on 13 May 2015.
