A 17-year-old will appear in court tomorrow after being arrested in Armidale over three outstanding warrants.
Police will allege the youth stole a pizza delivery vehicle on Sunday 21 June 2015 and stole a woman’s handbag while she was walking along Donnelly Street on Sunday 24 May 2015.
About 8am today (Wednesday 1 July 2015), police attended a home on Niagara Street after investigations led to the belief the wanted youth was residing there.
Police located the 17-year-old who allegedly resisted arrest before being apprehended.
He was taken to Armidale Police Station where he was charged with the alleged illegal use of a pizza delivery van on the 21 June 2015, police pursuit- not stop regarding the same vehicle, steal from person, use weapon to avoid apprehension and other traffic matters.
He was refused bail to appear before a children’s court tomorrow (Thursday 2 July 2015).
