Police are investigating a head-on crash in Armidale yesterday that has left seven people injured.
About 5pm (Saturday 8 August 2015) emergency services were called to Damaresq Dam Road, following reports of a crash.
Initial investigations suggest a Toyota Cressida, being driven by a 19-year-old man, and a Peugeot sedan, being driven by a 21-year-old man, crashed head on.
As a result of the crash, the driver of the Cressida was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital with serious injuries. His passenger, a 42-year-old man was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Peugeot, and four passengers, a 21-year-old man and three 20-year-old women, were all transported to hospital with serious injuries.
A crime scene has been established and officers from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit are investigating the incident.
