Police in the state’s Lake Macquarie region have formed a strike force to investigate the disappearance of a man.
Christopher Daunt, 27, was last seen in the North Lambton area on Sunday 29 March 2015.
Police were alerted when he failed to return to his Gateshead home and could not be located or contacted.
Serious concerns are held for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character.
Detectives from Lake Macquarie Local Area Command have formed Strike Force Retractor to investigate his disappearance, which is being treated as suspicious.
Strike force detectives have conducted extensive inquiries and are appealing for public assistance in an attempt to locate him.
Christopher is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 180cm tall, with a thin build, brown hair and green eyes.
Anyone who may have seen Christopher or believes they know his whereabouts is urged to contact police.
