On Saturday 5 September 2015, four males allegedly forced entry to a home on McDonald Drive armed with firearms.
The group allegedly threatened the occupants – a man and woman who were at home with their infant child – and demanded cash.
They fled with money and jewellery.

Following extensive inquiries, a 20-year-old man was arrested at a home on Drummond Avenue at Armidale just before 6am (Wednesday 14 October 2015).
He was taken to Armidale Police Station where he was charged with being armed with a dangerous weapon, as well as an outstanding arrest warrant, and appeared at Armidale Local Court.
He was refused bail to re-appear in Armidale Local Court on 19 October 2015.
