A man has been charged with two acts of indecency following separate incidents this month.
The first incident occurred about 5.30am Wednesday 7 October 2015, when a 34-year-old woman was travelling on a train to Sydney after boarding at Broadmeadow.
Police will allege the man exposed himself and committed an act of indecency while she was sitting opposite. When the train stopped at Morisset she reported the incident to police.
The other incident occurred about 9.30am on Friday 16 October 2015,when a 43-year-old woman was at a playground in John Street, Leichhardt, with her two children, aged one and six weeks.
It’s alleged a man stood a short distance from her and committed an act of indecency. The man then left in his car and the incident was reported to police.
About 4.50pm Friday 16 October 2015, police attached to Leichhardt Local Area Command attended Whites Creek Lane, Annandale, and arrested a 32-year-old man.
He was taken to Redfern Police Station and charged with two counts of commit act of indecency. He was refused bail and appeared at Parramatta Local Court on 17 October where he was again remanded in custody and is due to appear in Central Local Court on 23 October 2015.
