Hungry Jack’s today launched its Better Beef guarantee which promises “No Added Hormones” in all its beef patties. The initiative is available across the company’s network of more than 400 restaurants including Hungry Jack’s Gundagai.
Hungry Jack’s Chief Marketing Officer, Scott Baird said the universal move to No Added Hormones in its beef was a further step forward in the company’s commitment to meeting consumer expectations.
“This is an initiative that our customers told us they wanted,” Mr Baird said. “Customers demand greater transparency in the food they are eating. For Hungry Jack’s this means beef with No Added Hormones that is 100% pure Australian, with no added preservatives or fillers”.
Customer feedback identified that No Added Hormones in beef is important and the company has worked closely with its suppliers to ensure consistent supply of beef from cattle raised without Hormone Growth Promotants.
“Unlike our key competitor, all our beef now contains No Added Hormones,” Mr Baird said.
The move to No Added Hormone beef follows a recent company announcement to move to cage-free eggs and signals a number of exciting innovations that Hungry Jack’s will implement over the next year.
“Our staff and franchisees are serious about providing a menu that reflects the changing requirements of customers and delivers a choice they feel good about.”
Hungry Jack’s is proudly Australian owned. All beef is sourced from Australian farms and the beef patties are produced at its own manufacturing facility in Queensland.
Hungry Jack’s has been serving the famous flame-grilled Whopper to burger lovers across Australia for more than 44 years and in that time has expanded its offering to include a range of great-tasting burgers.
