A boy missing from Wagga Wagga has been located safe and well.

The 11-year-old boy was reported missing about 4.30pm today (Tuesday 5 July 2016).

Officers from Wagga Wagga Local Area Command were contacted and commenced searching for him.

About 7pm, the boy was located in Wagga Wagga safe and well.

Police thank the media and public for their assistance.
