Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a woman missing from Wallsend this morning.

Fatima Colic, 69, was last seen leaving her home on Invermore Close alone. When she failed to return, officers from Newcastle City Local Area Command were alerted and commenced searching for her.

Concerns are held for Ms Colic’s welfare, as she suffers from a medical condition and may appear disorientated.

Ms Colic is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of medium build, and grey shoulder-length hair.

She was last seen wearing a blue scarf, a blue and green dressing gown, and brown pyjamas.

Anyone with information on Ms Colic’s whereabouts is urged to contact local police via Crime Stoppers.
